The studio at the Galleria
A working studio, and a library of materials.
The studio at the Galleria is where the work is developed and where it can be seen whole: fabrics, finishes, furniture and objects together, in the light they will live in. Clients sit with the team here to develop a scheme. It is also the physical expression of Michelle’s taste, and the place to experience the pieces the studio designs and selects.
Bespoke
Made for the room.
The studio’s bespoke pieces begin with the interior they are made for. Bedding is proportioned to the bed and the way the room is dressed. Cushions are developed around the furniture, the palette and the material story. Curtains are made for the architecture and the fall of the light. Tableware and objects are selected or commissioned to sit naturally within the wider scheme. Some pieces are created for individual projects. Others become part of the Ms. Atkinson collection.

A sweet amber candle in a ceramic bowl that carries a letter from a mother to her daughter, engraved in its base, read when the wax has burned down, refilled, and passed on. Inspired by the founder’s mother and made for every mother and daughter. The first of Ms. Atkinson’s home fragrances.

Come to the Galleria to see the fabrics and the pieces in person. For a bespoke order, send a message on WhatsApp with the room, the size and the fabric you have in mind, and the studio will come back with a price and a making time. Delivery in Accra, or anywhere in the world at the courier’s rate.
